MVCAA provides advocacy and support services for low-income and middle-income individuals. The first step is identifying needed services and referring individuals respectively to resources within the agency and/or the community.
The agency also works to build partnerships in communities to support families in their struggle to move out of poverty. This includes Family Resource Centers in our seven county (Carroll, Chariton, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Ray and Saline) service area which provides an entry point for all MVCAA services.
Some of these services include:
- Information Assessment and Referral Services
- Crisis Intervention
- Back to School Services
- Poverty Simulations, Reality Enrichment and Life Lessons (REALL) Simulations and Education
